My true love hath my heart.

For the past few days our family members have centered their attention on the circle of love given to Kristin by Joey as an ensign to the world: "Joey loves Kristin and desires to share his life with her."

May this ring, which has no beginning or end, emphasize the constancy and stability of genuine love--a love that surmounts time, change, and adversity.

My True-Love Hath My Heart by Sir Philip Sidney (1554-1586)

My true-love hath my heart, and I have his,
By just exchange one for another given:
I hold this dear, and mine he cannot miss,
There never was a better bargain driven:
My true-love hath my heart, and I have his.

His heart in me keeps him and me in one,
My heart in him his thoughts and senses guides:
He loves my heart, for once it was his own,
I cherish his because in me it bides:
My true-love hath my heart, and I have his.

Kristin, we welcome you with open arms to encircle you with our love,
Grandma and Grandpa Follmer
